He brings with him more than thirteen years of financial services experience and relationships within the independent broker-dealer channel. Mr. Neves began his career working for LPL Financial Services and also worked as a Financial Advisor for Western International Securities. Mr. Neves has over ten years of sales and marketing experience within the alternative investment industry. Prior to joining ATEL, he was SVP of Capital Markets for Plymouth Real Estate Capital in Boston, MA. He has also held positions of Regional Vice President with Boston Capital Securities, WNC Capital Corp and Realty Capital Securities. Mr. Neves attended the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where he studied Business and Political Science.

He completed his MBA at the Argyros School of Business, Chapman University in Orange County and his undergraduate coursework in Economics/Accounting at the University of California, San Diego. Joshua enjoys the beach, tennis and working out.

jdamec@atel.com - Jeff Damec serves as Midwest Regional Vice President for ATEL Securities Corporation and its affiliates. Mr. Damec has over 16 years experience in the financial services industry which includes both retail and wholesale experience with real estate investments, including publicly registered Real Estate Investment Trusts, private placement partnerships, debenture funds, and Tenants-in-Common offerings, at firms including Ameriprise, Inc.; W. P. Carey & Co.; Grubb and Ellis Securities; and Bluerock Real Estate. Jeff holds the Series 7 and 63 licenses with FINRA. Jeff is a graduate of the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University where he earned a B.A. in Business Administration. Mr. Damec is a former Army Ranger where he served for four years in the United States Army's elite 82nd Airborne Division. Mr. Damec's public service includes the State of Michigan's Community Health Advisory Committee where he represented military veteran and their health issues.

Dave joins ATEL as a seasoned Internal-Wholesaler with over 10 years of securities industry experience, most recently with HighMark Capital Management in San Francisco, a subsidiary of Union Bank. Prior to that 4 years with Kelmoore Investment Company a covered-options money-manager based in Palo Alto, CA and 5 years with Franklin-Templeton Investments in San Mateo. Prior to the Securities industry, Dave owned a sole-proprietorship Accurate-Image which remarketed end-of lease and repossessed business copiers from Eaton Financial to the public. Attended Skyline College. Dave enjoys new challenges, good music, fine-dining, Judo, wrestling and the beautiful Bay-Area. Dave lived & trained full-time at the Olympic Training Center In Colorado Springs, CO training for An opportunity to make the U.S. Olympic Judo Team back in the 80's in the sport of Judo. (Which in Japanese means the "gentle way.")

Michael has over 13 years experience in the financial services industry, which includes both the retail and wholesale sides of the market. Prior to joining ATEL, Michael specialized in the alternative investment product space with Realty Income Corporation, Priority Capital Group and WNC Tax Credit Funds. He was previously a Financial Advisor and Registered Investment Advisor with Merrill Lynch, and holds the Series 7, 63 and 65 FINRA licenses.

Nicholas worked through college as a Research Associate for Published Social Psychologist while earning a Degree in Psychology from De Paul University. After which he moved to San Francisco and worked as a Financial Advisor for Mass Mutual Financial Group. He really enjoyed working with clients to uncover their financial aspirations. Later he worked for Osborne Partners Capital management where he worked as an associate, prospecting and working with clients placing Alternative Investment Allocations and portfolio manager style attributes. Additionally prospected for Hatteras, a fund of funds managed by Mark Yusko 2006 Alternative Investment Manager of the year.

A graduate of Texas A & M University, he began his Career in the Financial Services industry in 1997 with HD Vest. His first external wholesaling opportunity came in 2000 with GE Financial. He has also worked at MFS, Touchstone Investments, and Noble Royalties. Married for 10 years to the very patient Michele Tesdall, they have 4 children ages 2 to 8. Kurt's free time is usually spent chasing the kids, but he also enjoys camping, fishing, and as a life-long Cowboys fan, he is adept at dealing with frustration.

kmcloone@atel.com - Kevin is the new Regional Director of the Central Region. Kevin attended Arizona State University and has his B.A. in Spanish and his B.S. in Economics from there. He is set to graduate this year with a Master’s in Portfolio Management and Security Analysis from Creighton University as well. He is also a candidate in the CFA curriculum. Kevin has recently come from Merrill Lynch where he worked in the Retirement Benefits Center with Employee Stock Options. In his free time Kevin likes to take advantage of the amazing nature surrounding the Bay Area by hiking, kayaking, going to the coast, and anything else that gets him outside.

At CNL Securities Tim was consistently ranked at the top for sales and new producers, and most recently Tim worked with John Hancock marketing variable annuities in the Carolina’s Tim is a graduate of Rutgers University and He and his wife have 4 boys.

Prior to ATEL , Eric worked as a Internal Wholesaler for Franklin Templeton covering Northern California, Lake Tahoe and Reno territory. In addition, he was a Investment Consultant for TD Watherhouse in San Francisco. He graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Finance. He is currently enrolled in the MBA program a Golden Gate University. In his spare time, Eric enjoys practicing Ashtanga Yoga, playing tennis and traveling.

Prior to joining ATEL, Bill was a Financial Consultant with Birr-Wilson in San Francisco, a Regional Vice President with Balcor-American Express in the Mid-Atlantic Region, and a Registered Investment Advisor with the Putney Financial Group in San Rafael, CA. Having worked on both sides of the desk in the financial services industry, Bill has a unique perspective that will help benefit you and your clients' investment objectives.

He spent one year as an Equity trader with a private equity fund specializing in long/short strategies in the U.S Equity markets. Nicholas enjoys staying active by working out, playing basketball and golf. Also, he really enjoy being outdoors, traveling and experiencing different cultures.

John spent thirteen years at Berkeley Capital Management in San Francisco where he began as a wholesaler and grew the western region from $0 to $300 million of sales in 2 years. He was promoted to National Sales Manager and President, where he drove growth through the formation of new business relationships, marketing strategies and by developing an extensive network of relationships with Broker Dealers, due diligence officers and platform gatekeepers. He has been a frequent keynote speaker at national wire house and regional broker-dealer training functions. John graduated from University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Political Science degree, he is a Certified Investment Consultant, Certified Investment Specialist, Accredited Investment Fiduciary and has his Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law.

Randy acts as the Chief Compliance Officer and has recently been promoted to a new role working as the Vice President of Broker – Dealer Relations for ASC. Randy started with ATEL's Sales team and based on his success and past experience was promoted to Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer in late 2008. Randy has worked closely with the National Sales Manager and the Executive Vice President of Broker – Dealer Relations. Randy started his career with Franklin Templeton as part of their Wholesaling team. Randy left Franklin Templeton to assume a role as a Regional Vice President with US Allianz Securities which at the time was a business partner with Franklin Templeton. From US Allianz Randy moved into the role as a Financial Advisor with Citicorp Investment Services before returning to Wholesaling with ASC.

He began his career with ATEL Securities Corporation 2 years ago in the sales department. Since then he has grown ATEL's exposure to broker dealers across the United States with marketing campaigns and conference planning. Matthew has a Bachelor's Degree in Management with a focus in finance and marketing from Golden Gate University. He is currently working on his Master's in Financial Analysis and Investment Management.
